Academy — Training and Certifications

Create and share online training courses for your team or your clients, directly from Prometheus.

Academy is your built-in learning platform. Use it to train your team on your internal processes, onboard new hires, or deliver training to your clients — all without leaving Prometheus.

Real-world examples:

  • Train a new hire on your tools and methods through a structured seven-day onboarding course
  • Share a product guide with your clients so they get the most out of what you sell them
  • Create a certification programme that recognises your clients’ mastery of your platform

Key Concepts

A Course is the full programme — like a textbook. It has a title, a description, and is divided into lessons.

A Lesson is a chapter within the course. It can contain text, an embedded video (YouTube, Vimeo), images, or a quiz.

A Quiz is a set of questions to verify that the learner has understood the lesson content.

An Enrolment is the act of assigning a course to one or more learners. Once enrolled, they receive an email invitation with a direct link to the course.

Guide — Create Your First Course

  1. In the left menu, click Academy
  2. Click My Courses
  3. Click New Course
  4. Enter a clear Title (e.g. “Welcome to the Team — New Employee Guide”)
  5. Write a Description explaining what the learner will know by the end
  6. Choose who can access the course: All Staff, Specific Groups, or Clients
  7. Click Create

The course is created but empty. You now need to add lessons.

Guide — Add a Lesson

  1. Inside your course, click Add a Lesson
  2. Enter a descriptive lesson title (e.g. “Lesson 1 — How to Log In to Your Workspace”)
  3. In the editor, write the lesson content in clear, simple language
  4. To add a video, paste the YouTube or Vimeo URL into the Embedded Video field
  5. To add a knowledge check, scroll to the Quiz section and click Add Question
  6. Click Save Lesson and then Publish

Repeat for each lesson until your course is complete.

Guide — Enrol Learners

  1. Open the course you have published
  2. Click Manage Enrolments
  3. Click Enrol Users
  4. Search for and select the people you want to add
  5. Click Confirm

Each enrolled person receives an email notification with a direct link to start the course. You can track their progress from the Enrolled Users tab.
